Food may be the vehicle we use to get there, but our destination is far beyond that.
We have this “crazy” idea that people are searching for a place to be included, to feel accepted. It really doesn’t matter where this longing stems from, we know there is an innate desire for humankind to feel loved and cared for.
Coming together and sharing a meal is the most communal and binding thing in almost every place in the world. Eating together essentially enables us to stay connected with the ones we love. Families and friends often use the time at the dinner table to talk about their days, weeks, life in general or current affairs, allowing bonding to take place over the food.
So, we’re stepping up to the plate. With food bringing us together, we are in a unique position to craft the environment our community needs more than anything else right now. A place to let your hair down and be your true self...a place to connect with others.
Here, you will have someone to stand in your corner with you. We will laugh together, and cry together. We will build each other up and have thoughtful and meaningful conversations.
We will give you grace for all your missteps because we are all on a journey of self-reflection and each deserve a non-judging circle where everyone is enough.
And we hope you will do the same for us.
Every one of us here, from the front of house to the kitchen and behind the bar, is working hard to make this vision a reality. But, we too are on our own journey and will make missteps along the way.
Our mission is to give you the best damn experience. It is. But we are human, too. And we have “those days,” too. So, please, we ask for your grace in return because we are only as good as those around us.
To turn the ship, we need everyone to be in-step together. While we have tons of room for big ideas, we have none for big egos. We’ve worked hard to craft a no-bull shit atmosphere and would like to keep it that way.
Is this a “crazy” idea? Maybe. But the Crazy Train is leaving the station. So, step on board. We have a spot for you at the ‘76er if you’re ready to join the movement...
