What Three Years Has Meant To Us

"As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words
but to live by them." // John F. Kennedy

Perhaps ironically, our three-year anniversary falls on Thanksgiving Day this year. At first, I was a little disappointed. Falling on Thanksgiving Day means the restaurant is closed and, therefore, we won’t be celebrating our anniversary in the same spirited fashion as years past. As I sat more with the idea, I realized it was the best possible scenario. That the team who keeps us going, will have a day to break bread with their friends and family. To sit in gratitude and marvel at our accomplishments. To re-energize for continuing our momentum towards the full vision of who we strive to be and what strive to do…

Everyday, we aspire to take care of every guest, finding an option that works for them. Often, this means altering and adapting to a guest’s dietary restrictions or preferences. Staying committed to being flexible to crafting the experience of your dreams because ‘Everyone Deserves Good Food’.

The traditional three-year anniversary gift is leather as it represents a stage of being flexible and durable. How apropos for us at the restaurant. As we’ve evolved over the last three years — from the original 1776 into the new ‘76er — we’ve weathered the winds of change. At times, this flexible durability can feel defeating, maybe even unachievable. But, it is also what continues to drive us forward. No matter what life throws at us, we will withstand the challenge.

Thank you for being like fine leather, aging with grace right alongside us. YOU have ridden the waves of change remaining steadfast as we found our wings. None of this would be possible without YOU. YOU are the lifeblood of this place. YOU are a proven part of the very foundation that pushes us to be better.

During this season of reflection and giving thanks, we would like to give a special thanks to:
…Our farmers, who allow us to bring the freshest ingredients to our tables.
…Our team, who work hard behind the scenes to make all of it a reality.
…Our community, who allows us an environment to thrive and engage.
…Our guests, who continue to believe in and support us.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you and our community. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Cheers,
